Tekko 2024: Anime, Gaming and Japanese Pop Culture

From July 18 through July 24, Tekko 2024 returns to the Pittsburgh, bringing with it a whirlwind of anime, gaming, and Japanese pop culture delights. As Pennsylvania’s largest anime convention, Tekko draws in nearly 12,000 passionate fans from across the globe, transforming the region into a hub of creativity and camaraderie.

At Tekko, enthusiasts immerse themselves in the world of their favorite anime series, connecting with fellow fans and discovering the latest trends in Japanese pop culture. From thrilling cosplay competitions and exclusive anime screenings to interactive workshops and panel discussions with industry luminaries, the lineup promises something special for every attendee.

Featured guests this year include voice actors Chris Hackney, Jessica Calvello, David Vincent, Emi Lo, Ben Balmaceda, Landon McDonald; Dystopia-pop idol PAiDA; and Kpop/Jpop choreographer Smuckers. There will also be musical performances from Creep-P, Ash Da Hero, and MOGRA. Cosplay guests include Midnight Pursona, HylianCream Cosplay, Tunaphish, Sarcasm-himé, Paige Knovice, Rakumaroo, Horror Queen Cosplay, MC Jez Roth, and Ely Renae.

Tekko is presented by a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Pittsburgh Japanese Culture Society (PittJCS) . They’ve been bringing fans together for more than 15 years at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
